What is a CSBA?

Mac-Bo's newest team member, Andrew Adams, carries the designation CSBA. CSBA stands for Certified Sustainable Building Advisor. This certification is the culmination of an intensive 9 month program taught nationwide and hosted locally by Mt. Hood Community College.
“Through expert instructors and guest speakers, team projects, site visits to exemplary projects, and access to the latest in green building resources, the SBA course provides attendees the information they need to create buildings that are energy and resource efficient, healthy working and living environments, environmentally responsible and cost effective.”
While in the CSBA program, Andrew spearheaded a group project that combined green building with historic preservation. He is proud to have completed the program, passed his exam, and received his certification in July of 2010. Andrew enjoys steering Mac-Bo's commitment to operating and building as sustainably as possible.
