This 1960 Daylight Ranch was ready for a major revision. The owners wanted an updated kitchen and were tired of the small compartments created by unnecessary walls on the upper, main living level.
Mac-Bo Designed, Planned and Executed a solution to the owners needs and wants. Walls came down between the kitchen and dining room, the kitchen and laundry / mud room, and between the dining room and stairwell leading to the lower level. Hardwood oak was laced into the existing hardwoods to extend into the new kitchen area. A custom steel gaurd rail and bannister was created to secure the now exposed stairwell. Hard Rock Maple Cabinets were installed featuring roll out shelves, large drawers, and custom cabinets to neatly stow the laundry machines. The lighting system was dramatically improved. Appliances were paneled with the maple, stainless steel sinks for the kitchen and laundry area and beautiful granite counters with tile backsplash are also features of this successful remodel.
